Acaya Golf Club

The course of the Acaya Golf Club is located on the peninsula Salento in southern Italy. The 18 hole championship course with par 71 is spread over a quite flat area between the Acaya castle, the near Adriatic Sea as well as the picturesque natural reserve of Cesine. The attractive landscape near the ocean with olive and oak trees as well as the smell of rosemary, thyme and other Mediterranean spices turn the game of golf here into an experience for all senses. The flat course is challenging and has some water hazards. It was remodelled and modernized in 2007 by the famous US-American golf architecture office Hurdzan-Fry. The club has several teams and a large training area with a driving range (with 40 range tees), putting green as well as practice bunkers. The equipment can be hired on site at the pro shop. The people who want to improve their HCP can take private lessons or courses with multilingual golf professionals at the golf academy of Costantino Rocca. Players and guests like to meet up at the nice golf restaurant where the kitchen team provides culinary highlights. The Acaya Golf Club is perfect for a golf and beach vacation due to its proximity to the Sea. In addition, there is a pool, a fitness centre, a spa as well as a children’ area on the course. The golf club is only ten minutes away from Lecce by car. It is open year-round.
