Air Sofia Golf Club – Golf Course Sliven

The Air Sofia Golf Club – Golf Course Sliven is located in the spa town of Sliven, which is in the province of the same name in the east of Bulgaria. It is located at the foot of the Sliven Mountains at the southeast foothills of the Sinite Kavani (Blue Stones) massif and allows for a wonderful view of the Gornotrakiyska Valley with its waterfalls, thermal springs, rock and karst formations. From Sliven, the Sliven Golf Course, which is part of the Air Sofia Golf Club, can easily be reached in 16 minutes via the route 53. From Burgas on the Black Sea coast, you can also comfortably reach the Air Sofia Golf Club – Golf Course Sliven in about an hour via the E 773 and A1. It was opened in 2004 as an 18-hole-course with par 71 and is said to be the largest of the only seven Bulgarian golf courses. It runs along a wavy terrain, 270 meters above sea level, and has a total length of 6,010 meters. In its practice area, the Air Sofia Golf Club – Golf Course Sliven has a driving range with ten range tees for training long hits and a putting green to practice the short game. The club-own pro shop provides golf clothing and utensils for golfers. Trolleys, golf carts, and golf clubs can be hired on site by the golf players.
