Al Mouj Golf

Al Mouj Golf is one of the best golf clubs in Oman. It is located in Muscat right next to the Indian Ocean with the breathtaking Hajjar mountain range in the background. The 18-hole course with par 72 was designed by world famous golf course designer Greg Norman and opened in 2012. It is a links course directly at the ocean. The first-class course is in a perfect condition the whole year. The narrow fairways are varied, challenging and fair. They are 6,675 meters long in total. Bunkers and numerous water hazards demand technique and precision, especially due to the rough which won’t return any balls. Highlights of Al Mouj Golf are the island green at hole five, fairway eleven next to the sea and hole 18 at the rock bay. The fairways showcase great views during your round of golf. At some holes, you can even feel the sea spray. Aside from the championship course, there are a 9-hole training course, a par 3-course, training greens and a floodlight driving range. A golf academy and a pro shop top off the offer. The restaurant serves Mediterranean and international dishes. On the balcony, you can enjoy the view of the great course. Al Mouj is next to the airport and can easily be reached by car in only a few minutes.
