Arona Golf Club

Lake Maggiore is known far beyond the borders of northern Italy. Arona Golf Club is situated on its southern shore, in the town of Borgo Ticino. It has a 9 hole course, known as the newest course in the region around Lake Maggiore. Borgo Ticino lies in the Novara Province of the Piemont region and is about 60 kilometres away from Milan. The course’s terrain is embedded in a lightly hilly terrain and is rated at par 70. The course itself is flat and has several water hazards. The level of difficulty is considered demanding. The relatively young Arona Golf Club was able to attract a significant number of members, which can be attributed in part to the excellent location. For practicing, there is a driving range with 18 covered tees. Furthermore, there are putting greens, pitching greens and chipping greens at Arona Golf Club. Practice bunkers as well as a 3 hole short course are also available. Guests are always welcome at Arona Golf Club. Prior registration is required on weekends and public holidays. Guests must have club ID with handicap (36). Softspikes are recommended on the course. GPS devices are permitted. Arona Golf Club has a clubhouse with adequate equipment. Clubs, trolleys and electric carts are available for rent.
