Ballyhaunis Golf Club

The Irish golf club has a challenging 9-hole golf course on the outskirts of Ballyhaunis in County Mayo. The beautifully designed and maintained course was opened in 1929. The parkland course is 5,443 meters long and suitable for players of all handicap classes. The Ballyhaunis Golf Club has numerous teams and is athletically ambitious. The club is open throughout the year. The fairways offer majestic views of the beautiful landscape and of the course itself. Due to the tees’ varied placements, an 18-hole course can be played, offering diverse golf experiences. Doglegs, water hazards, and well-guarded greens demand precision and technique from golfers. The eighth hole, for example, is protected by two bunkers. For warming-up and practicing, a small practice area with training greens is available on-site. It is also possible to rent golf clubs and trolleys. At the clubhouse, visitors can sit comfortably after a round of golf, and enjoy refreshments and snacks.
