Bangpoo Golf & Sports

This gorgeous golf facility to the south of Bangkok is one of the few Asian courses designed by the famous golf course architect Arnold Palmer. The 18-hole, par-72 course was founded in 1991, and is located in Tambol Pragsa. The fairways stretch out over a slightly undulating terrain. Large, gorgeous trees, palm trees, and enchanting flowers embellish the Bangpoo Golf & Sports grounds. Here, you are sure to feel right at home from the very start. The Bangpoo Golf & Sports course is also well suited for beginners, with broad fairways, inviting greens, sand bunkers, and a few water hazards. The real difficulty, however, is posed by the tricky breeze blowing in from the Gulf of Thailand, located not far from the course. All the same, it is quite refreshing, offering some respite from the afternoon heat. Bangpoo Golf & Sports is very popular with local golfers as well, and guests are always welcome to use the facilities. There is a driving range and pro shop on-site. Here, you can rent golf accessories such as electro carts and caddies. In addition, guests can use the fitness center, restaurant, and tennis and squash court, as well as the outdoor swimming pool. The golf course is an easy, 40-minute drive removed from Bangkok.
