Blue Green Niort-Romagné Golf Club

The Blue Green Niort-Romagné Golf Club sits in western France near the cities of Niort and Romagné in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region of Aquitaine-Limousin-Poitou-Charantes. It is located on the grounds of a former swamp at the edge of the Marais Poitevin. Situated between Nantes and Bordeaux, the Blue Green Niort-Romagné Golf Club can be reached in 90 minutes from Nantes via the A83 and in 105 minutes from Bordeaux via the A10. It was established in 1984 and boasts an 18 hole par 71 course, designed by the golf course architect Robert Berthet. The 5868 meter long, flat and open course demonstrates mostly straight, narrow fairways with elevated tees. Large bunkers and water hazards ensure that the course offers challenges. Particularly the first six holes are known to be very technical. Hole 4 presents the highlight, locked in between a stream and a little pond. The remaining twelve holes are much more accessible and run through a grove. The course is suitable for both novices and experienced golfers who are looking for an athletic challenge. They can practice for this in the Blue Green Niort-Romagné Golf Club’s practice area, which offers a driving range with 35 tees, 15 of which are covered, practice bunkers, a putting green, and a 6 hole pitch & putt course.
