Brookhill Golf Course

The Brookhill Golf Course is located in the city of Rantoul in Champaign County, which belongs to the US state of Illinois. It lies in the middle of the city, embedded into the grounds of a park. Because of this, the city center of Rantoul is just five minutes away from the Brookhill Golf Course via the US-45 N/S Century Blvd. It can also be reached from Chicago in about two hours via the Interstate 57 S. In 1973, it was opened as an 18-hole parkland course with par 72, designed by the golf course architect team Packard & Associates. The 6,032 meter long course features long, narrow fairways, closely bordered by trees, large greens that are well shielded by bunkers, many doglegs, and water hazards at 8 of the 18 holes. Golfers must play across these at holes 8, 10, 17 and 18 to reach the green. At the Brookhill Golf Course, golfers will find three different options for teeing off, so that several levels of difficulty are covered. The demanding course contains numerous obstacles for golfers, but can be mastered by all handicaps. Brookhill Golf Course offers good practice possibilities in its practice area with an illuminated driving range, a putting green and a chipping area. At the club’s own Pro Shop, golfers are provided with suitable golf clothing and other high-quality golf items.
