Burgdorfer Golfclub e.V.

Founded in 1969, Burgdorfer Golfclub e. V. is located between Hanover and Celle. It has an 18-hole championship course with a par of 73. The woodland course is challenging. The parkour is even and gently modeled. The park blends harmoniously into the beautiful heathlands. It is characterized by dense stocks of pine, oak and birch trees as well as blueberries and heather. The fairways are sheltered from the wind and present challenges for all handicap levels. The whole route, from the first to the last tee, is around 8 kilometers long. Hole 9 is worth mentioning as the most difficult hole under guideline 1. Hole 18 is the longest and demands a lot of golfing prowess, not just from long hitters. Training facilities include a driving range with 15 tee-off points (four sheltered), as well as pitching, chipping and putting greens, and practice bunkers. Due to the sandy ground, play is possible all year round at Burgdorfer Golfclub e. V. Rainwater is absorbed immediately. The club is competitive and active, organizing numerous tournaments. The golf academy offers handicap courses and trial sessions. Equipment (including hire clubs, trolleys, electric carts, caddies etc.) are available for hire or purchase at the pro shop. The team of chefs at the club restaurant serves culinary highlights. Burgdorfer Golfclub e. V. can easily be reached from Hanover or Celle in around 20 minutes due to the well-established motorway and federal highway system.
