Burning Ridge Golf Club – East Course

The Burning Ridge Golf Club is in the city of Conway, which belongs to Horry County in the US state South Carolina. It is situated in a quiet residential complex, approximately 15 kilometers away from the Myrtle Beach beaches at the Atlantic Ocean. You can reach the Burning Ridge Golf Club from Conway’s city center via the US-501 BUS N in 10 minutes and from Myrtle Beach via the US-501 N in 15 minutes. In 1980, it opened a 36-hole course, which consisted of both 18-hole East and West Courses with par 72, designed by the famous golf course architect Gene Hamm. After the West Course was closed in 2005, the East Course got a makeover and a new name: Burning Ridge Course. The 6,199-meter-long course has long, wavy fairways flanked by pine trees and elevated greens in all sizes and forms. There are bunkers surrounding the greens and water hazards such as lakes, ponds and creeks at 10 of the 18 holes. At the holes 12 and 17, golfers come across pretty island greens. In 2006, the golf course in the Burning Ridge Golf Club was chosen by the South Carolina- and Myrtle Beach Area Golf Course Owners Association as the “Golf Course of the Year”.
