CampoReal Lisboa

The Golfresort CampoReal Lisboa is located in Turcifal in the Oeste region near Torres Vedras. It stretches across 55 hectares and borders the nature preserve Serra do Socorro and Archeira. Inlaid in idyllic valley, hills, and vineyards, the Golfresort CampoReal Lisboa – “Royal Meadow” in English – runs through a former hunting area that belonged to Portuguese Kings. Only 30 minutes by car from Lisbon, it is easy to reach via the A8. Founded in 2005, the Golfresort CampoReal Lisboa boasts an 18-hole course, type parkland with par 72, designed by the renowned golf course architect, Donald Steel. The course demands high athletic and technical skills from golfers of all handicaps with its large differences in altitude, hilly terrain, fast greens, narrow fairways, and many groves of eucalyptus, olive, and cork trees, as well as many ditches that cut across the fairways. In 2015, it was voted one of the top 100 golf courses in the world and was crowned the best golf resort in Portugal by Brand Magazine. At the Golfresort CampoReal Lisboa, there is a practice area with a driving range that includes two main tees, as well as two putting greens and two chipping areas. The demanding terrain of the course encourages renting a cart to traverse the varied landscape.
