Club Golf el Candado

Club Golf el Candado is about 20 minutes east of Málaga by car and can conveniently reached via the A-7 highway. Opened in 1968, the 9-hole course was created according to a design by Carlos Fernandez Caleya and is excellently suited for combining golfing fun with beach holidays due to its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. Club Golf el Candado is characterized by its familial atmosphere and the possibility of combining golf with further leisure activities on its grounds such as tennis, fitness, swimming and sailing. The course’s terrain is slightly hilly. Club and trolleys can be rented on site. The fairways are bounded by sand bunkers and old olive trees. In some areas, fences guard the course from other properties. Although it is a rather small course, it opens up to beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby coastal landscape. In addition to a driving range, Club Golf el Candado offers a separate putting green for practicing. The local golfing academy offers courses not just for beginners but also customized lessons for advanced golfers. After the game, players can enjoy delicious snacks and drinks at the club’s family-friendly restaurant.
