Conero Golf Club

The Conero Golf Club, founded in 1987, is located in the midst of a magical nature reserve of Conero (Parco del Conero) on a hill, the Coppo di Sirolo. The course is only about four kilometres away from the Sea and is spread out over about 70 hectares in a very nice landscape with oaks, tamarisks, cherry trees and broom bushes. The club has a 18 hole championship course as well as a 9 hole practice course. From the courses below the 572-meter-high Monte Conero the golfers have unique views of the picturesque landscape of the nature park. The course is 5,629 metres long and interesting for golf beginners as well as experienced players. The differences in altitude between the courses as well as the water hazards and the strategically places bunkers require technique and concentration. Who wants to improve his handicap on site or take an introductory course, can do this at the golf school of the club. The entire equipment is available for hire at the club. On the course of the Conero Golf Club there is also a pro shop and a restaurant. Here people can refill their energy supplies after the round or just sit together. From the Conero Golf Club to Ancona it only takes a few minutes. Due to the proximity to the Sea, it makes sense to combine a golf vacation with a beach vacation during a visit of the Conero Golf Club.
