Coral Creek Golf Course

The Coral Creek Golf Course is situated in the town of Ewa Beach on the island of Oahu in Honolulu County, which belongs to the US state of Hawaii. It winds across a flat terrain, along the Ewa Plain and through freestanding coral rocks. Coral Creek Golf Course is eight minutes away from the center of Ewa Beach, and can easily be reached via the I-H-1 W in about half an hour from Hawaii’s capital of Honolulu. In 1999, the golf course was opened as an 18-hole course with par 72 and designed by the golf course architects Nelson & Haworth. The 6,225 meter long course features fairways lined by trees, elevated greens and tees, as well as partly narrow fairways and tee zones. Four lakes can be found as water hazards on the Coral Creek Golf Course, of which the largest is Lake Nelson between the 10th and the 12th hole. Water hazards are located at 8 of the 18 holes and must often be played from difficult tees on the fairways. At hole 17, a creek crosses the course, presenting athletic and technical demands for golfers of all handicaps, while hole 10 displays a waterfall more than nine meters high. The Coral Creek Golf Course is considered one of the best courses on Oahu and features a covered driving range with 35 tees, two putting greens, two chipping areas as well as a practice bunker.
