Country Club La Envia Golf

Country Club La Envia Golf is located at the foot of the Sierra de Gador in Almeria and is part of a 5-star hotel. The park was designed by golf course architect Francisco Mendoza and opened in 1993. The parkland course is very hilly, especially with regards to the second nine holes. A cart is strongly recommended. The location is unique. Almeria offers warmth and sunshine year-round and there are two nature parks close by. The 18-hole par 71 course stretches across 5,700 meters in a valley that is protected from the wind on two sides and therefore offers perfect playing conditions. The park is characterized by palm trees, mimosas and ancient olive trees as well as beautiful bushes, which make it look like an oasis. The meticulously kept course disposes of numerous water hazards and offers a lot of variation. The greens are undulating and not very big. For that reason, playing at Country Club La Envia Golf requires technique and precision from players of every handicap category. The practice area consists of a driving range with 20 tees and numerous practice greens. There is a golf school and a Pro Shop on site. Equipment is available for rent at the club. After the round, Country Club La Envia Golf’s restaurant caters to the golfers’ physical well-being.
