Country Club Mante

The Country Club Mante is located directly at the edge of the city Mante. This small city (approx. 112,000 inhabitants) lies in the most southern part of the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. The latter shares a border with the US state of Texas in the North. The next larger and famous city is Tampico, located at the Gulf of Mexico. It is approximately 100 kilometers away. The atmosphere at the Country Club Mante is casual and hospitable. Guests are welcome at the country club all year round. It was established in 1993. The design of the 9-hole course was created by the golf course architect Luis Bueno Torio. He integrated the course into the slightly hilly landscape. The course is characterized by long lanes and doglegs. Trees surround the holes and provide shade. The greens are protected by strategically placed bunkers. Beautifully laid out ponds provide athletically challenging obstacles for the players. There is a driving range available for training and warming up. The broad range of offerings at the Country Club Mante is rounded off by several tennis courts, a large pool complex and a restaurant. There is also a bar with small snacks. Mante is a well-known holiday region for international guests. There is an airport on site. Other interesting attractions near Mante include the El Cielo nature park, a magnificent landscape with tropical rain forests, pine trees, oak trees and cloud forests.
