Cowichan Golf &Country Club

The small town of Duncan impresses with its picturesque location in the south of Canadian Pacific island of Vancouver in British Columbia. The provincial capital of Victoria is only around 50 kilometers away and Vancouver around 100. The town of Duncan is also well-connected to local infrastructure with the Trans Canada Highway passing directly through the city, allowing Victoria Airport to be reached in around an hour by car. The club is located outside of the city along the way to Shawnigan Lake. The club boasts a generous 18-hole golf course, opened in 1947. The well-maintained course is considered athletically challenging and offers varied training possibilities in the form of putting and chipping greens. The course is well-suited for beginners, but also boasts challenges for experienced golfers. There are some challenging greens that demand a well-concentrated game. The course is rather flat and old trees give it a certain magical flair. At the Cowichan Golf & Country Club, guests are always welcome, though a reservation is necessary. The Cowichan Golf & Country Club also boasts a clubhouse with a restaurant and a well-stocked Pro Shop that offers high-quality equipment for rent, including clubs and electric trolleys.
