Crown Park Golf Club

The Crown Park Golf Club is located in the small municipality of Longs that is in Horry County in the US state of South Carolina. It winds across a wavy terrain through a pine forest in the coastal country of South Carolina and the Donford Branch river flows through it. The Crown Park Golf Club can be reached in six minutes via the SC-9 N from the center of Longs. I takes 19 minutes to get to the club via the same route from North Myrtle Beach along the Atlantic Ocean. In 2001, it originally opened a 27-hole course after the design by Robert Byers, that was reduced to an 18-hole course with par 72 just a while ago. The current course is 5,945 meters long and has mainly long, narrow fairways, that are densely lined by trees, some doglegs, large, wavy greens and water hazards at 13 of the 18 holes. Nevertheless, golf players only have to overplay a lake at the holes 12 and 18. Due to four different tees on the fairways, different levels of difficulty are possible, so that inexperienced, as well as experienced golf players can play according to their level on the course at the Crown Park Golf Club. In the practice area of the championship course they can find a driving range on grass, a putting and a chipping green, as well as practice bunkers for long hit and short game training.
