Cypress Creek Golf Club

The Cypress Creek Golf Club is located between the towns of Ruskin and Sun City Center in Hillsborough County, Florida. It is situated on a 160-hectare large estate between oak and cypress forests in a wetland near Tampa Bay. Only seven minutes from Sun City Center and nine minutes from Ruskin, the Cypress Creek Golf Club is half an hour from Tampa via FL 618 Toll E and I 75 S. In 1989, the club opened its 18-hole course, type links/parkland with par 72. Golf course architects Dean Refram and Steve Smyers were tasked with its design. They created a 6,253-meter long course with narrow fairways, small, fast, wavy greens, over 85 bunkers, and water hazards at 14 of the 18 holes. There are five different tee boxes, allowing golfers to choose the level of difficulty in according with their experience. The course is challenging, but can still be mastered by golfers of all handicaps. In 2007, the Cypress Creek Golf Club was renovated and optimized. The championship course is considered one of the most beautiful courses in all of Florida. The golf club offers players a driving range with 20 tees on natural grass, a putting green, as well as a pitching and chipping area.
