Doña Julia Golf Resort

Doña Julia Golf Resort is an exclusive hotel complex in Casares in the very south of Spain, near Gibraltar. The 18-hole championship course with par 71 was designed in 2005 by Antonio Garcia Garrido, who carefully integrated the course into the mountainous natural space. The course is not just very well-tended, it also offers spectacular views of the Costa del Sol all the way to the African shore from many holes. On top of that, the course is highly varied. It is a mountainous course that sprawls up and down a valley. Water hazards, bunkers and several slopes demand concentration and technical skill. At 576 meters, hole 8 is the course’s longest. While the course initially slopes upwards, starting from the eleventh hole, the course runs on an open area along the shore with breathtaking panoramic views. Doña Julia Golf Resort is also suitable for beginners. There is a local driving range, a golf school as well as a Pro Shop. The course can be reached via the A7 and is just 45 minutes away from Málaga airport. Gibraltar is in direct proximity and is a great trip destination. Bars, restaurants and a large pool area in the adjacent hotel complex are the icing on the cake of an exclusive golf vacation.
