Golf Le Vert Parc

The Golf Le Vert Parc golf club is located near to the northern French commune of Illies, which is in the department of Nord in the region of Nord-Pas-de-Calais et Picardie. It is nestled in the idyllic landscape of Weppes, which is dotted with ponds, orchards and meadows. The Golf Le Vert Parc stretches across 67 hectares of parkland and has excellent transport links to the cities of Lille and Arras, which can be comfortably reached from the club in 20-30 minutes. It was founded in 1992 and has an 18 hole, par 71 parkland type course at its disposal. Its design dates back to the late erstwhile club manager Patrice Simon. The course is 6,573 meters long, on flat terrain and is set with scores of large water hazards. Throughout the course, the golfer has to play through several lakes, ponds and the Broëlle stream. Elaborately arranged bunkers, doglegs, small greens and, for the most part, long, narrow fairways make for a further challenge to the technical skills of players of all handicaps. The Golf Le Vert Parc has a driving range with 26 tees, 10 of which are covered, in its practice area. In addition, there is also a putting green for golfers wishing to perfect their game. The new club house, built in the summer of 2016 in a modern bungalow style, offers fantastic views over hole 10 and also now has a restaurant.
