Dunmore East Golf Club

The course was opened in 1992 at the Dunmore East Golf Club and boasts a fantastic location: The golf course offers players a breath-taking panorama view of the picturesque fishing town of Dunmore East, the nearby Waterford Port, as well as the peninsula Hook in the south east of Ireland. It is an intermediate parkland course with 18 holes and par 72. The course is 6,070-meters long, hilly, and sometimes quite tricky. Dunmore offers golfers of all levels a challenging round. Several water hazards and interesting fairways make this course a true golf experience. Hole 14, par 3, is especially worth mentioning due to having to hit the ball down into a broom brush-filled valley with a beautiful backdrop of the Hook lighthouse and the sea. No less spectacular is hole 16, par 3, at which players must hit the ball over a cliff. The golf course also offers a large training area. Rental equipment is available at the Pro Shop if needed. The Dunmore East Golf Club is open all year long and is easy to reach for a planned golf weekend. The atmosphere is friendly. Guests enjoy sitting at the club restaurant or bar. From the Rosslare ferry station, it is only sixty minutes by car; 45 minutes to Cork. Dublin’s airport is only two hours away.
