Fontanals Golf

Not far from the border with France and Andorra, the Fontanals Golf club is located in the Pyrenees mountains. The well-known golf course architect Ramon Espinosa designed an exquisite course here that has yet to meet its match. The flat 18-hole course with par 72 is one of the best and most beautiful courses in all of Spain. It lies on an athletically-challenging course that is interesting for all handicap classes with its varied fairways; the great location is also impressively beautiful and boasts a mountainous landscape in the far north of the country with green forests and snow-capped mountains that can be seen and enjoyed from the fairways. The course is over 6,450 meters long and boasts perfectly-placed bunkers and water hazards. The second part of the course has more of an American character to it. Hotel, as well as a generous club house with diverse sports, swimming, and wellness facilities also belong to Fontanals Golf. The club restaurant can also be found there. Those interested can better their HCP in the golf school, on the short course, or even on the driving range. Equipment can be rented in the Pro Shop. Players enjoy meeting after a round of golf on the club veranda to enjoy the panorama view of the mountainous landscape of the Cerdanya and good food.
