The golf club Garden Golf de Digne les Bains lies near the southern French health resort of Digne-Les-Bains, embedded in the charming landscape of the Provence, with hills, forests, and lakes. It is surrounded by fragrant lavender fields and 300 year old oak trees, with a view of the mountain top of the Haute Provence in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. Garden Golf de Digne les Bains offers good transport links to the most significant cities in southern France. The club of Digne-les-Bains is reachable in 14 minutes via the Route de Chaffaut/D12. From Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, the A51 leads to the club in 75 and 97 minutes. Even Nice and Cannes at the Côte d’Azur are merely two and a half hours away from the Garden Golf de Digne les Bains. The golf club was founded in 1990 and created after a design by Robert Berthet. He designed the 5556 meter long 18 hole par 72 course Les Lavandes. Lavender fields border the fairways, but also pine and oak trees surround the hilly, wooded terrain. The course is set up in several loops and presents a considerable but feasible challenge for golfers of all abilities with its greens, doglegs, bunkers, and water hazards. In addition, there is a compact 6 hole course for practicing short shots. A driving range with 35 tees, twelve of which are covered, and a putting and pitching green round off the practice possibilities.
