Give Golfklub

The Give Golfklub is located west of the Give Municipality in Jutland, near the regional capital of Vejle in Southern Denmark. Surrounded my an old conifer plantation, the club is 5 minutes away from the center of Give and its historic Give Kirke church. It can be reached comfortably in half an hour over Route 18 from Vejle. Billund, with its well-known Legoland resort, is just 15 minutes away from the Give Golfklub over Routes 30 and 176. The club was founded in 1993 and, with the help of Anders Thygesen, designed an 18-hole course of the parkland type, with par 72. The 6,050-meter long course is made up of spacious, hilly fairways, large greens, sand bunkers and doglegs, as well as a population of fruit trees, which make the course more difficult, both for beginners and experienced golfers. The varied design of the course place some holes on the edge of the woods, while others run through the open park landscape. In addition to the 18-hole course, there is a 6-hole Pay&Play course that is well suited to beginners thanks to its short fairways, which are between 48 and 159 meters long. This course also contains water hazards and tree obstacles, as well as a few bunkers. The Give Golfklub has a driving range with 20 tees, of which four have roofs, as well as a putting green and a compact golf course for practicing short shots. A pro shop for purchasing golfing equipment is also available.
