Glendower Golf Club is located only 20 minutes away from Johannesburg’s City Center. This exquisitely designed course is set amidst a gorgeous surrounding. Glendower Golf Club is currently ranked number 2 in South Africa and is said to be a test for the world’s best golfers. Designed by the English golf architect Charles Hugh, the Course was opened in 1937 and completely remodelled in 80ies. The 18 hole parkland golf course is considered very challenging and convinces with 64 bunkers and a total of 11 water hazards. Accuracy is the key on Glendower Golf Clubs 72 par layout. Besides a putting green, chipping greens and practice bunkers, the two top rated PGA professionals Fanie Viljoen and Tyrone Twilley are on site to assist anyone in need. Glendower Golf Club also has a quality stocked pro shop.
