Glyn Abbey Golf & Country Club – The Mission Course

The Glyn Abbey Golf & Country Club is located in the west of Wales and can be reached by car via the M4. In 2009, the Glyn Abbey Golf & Country Club was voted the most popular golf club in Wales by an independent expert committee. The club’s course, situated on the southern slope of the Gwendraeth Valley offers breath-taking views of the surrounding natural landscape. The famous British golf architect Dr. Martin Hawtree was responsible for the course’s design and its consequent opening in 1992. The 18-hole “Abbey Course” is a classic parkland course that excites with its majestic greens and creatively-integrated water hazards. Additionally, the “Mission,” an 9-hole course nearby, offers the opportunity to play a challenging round of golf. In the training area of the club, guests and members can use a driving range and a putting green to practice. The club’s own golf course is directed by former PGA Professional Mike Davies and offers training for all ages and experience levels. The Glyn Abbey Golf & Country Club also boasts a Pro Shop that sells high-quality golf equipment by leading brands. The on-site fitness studio offers guests the opportunity to work on their psychical appearance in a relaxed atmosphere.
