Golf Club Agen Bon-Encontre

The Golf Club Agen Bon-Encontre is located near to the south western commune of Bon-Encontre, which can be found in the Aquitaine region, in the department of Lot-et-Garonne. It is situated on a plateau and provides a magnificent view of the Garonne valley, the surrounding landscape and, in good weather, also the mountain tops of the Pyrenees. The Golf Club Agen Bon-Encontre is well-connected to the major cities of Toulouse and Bordeaux via the A62, which are both 90 minutes away from the club. From Agen, the largest town in the department, the golf club can be reached by the Route de la Frégate in a quarter of an hour. The golf club was established in 1982 and boasts par 35, 9 hole course, which was opened in 1985 and for whose design the renowned golf course architect Jean-Louis Pega is responsible. The 5,841 meter long course is set on hilly terrain and is suitable for both beginners and old hands. For training, golfers can use the driving range with 9 tees, 5 of which are covered, in addition to the putting green available in the practice area of the golf club. Golf clubs and trolleys are available for rent. In the club’s Pro Shop, everything necessary for golfing, such as tees, golf balls or gloves are all on sale.
