Golf Club Castell’Arquato was founded in 1991. It is located in Castell’Arquato, a town in Piacenza province in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy. The town is about 26 kilometres southeast of Piacenza. This is where the green valleys of Piacenza meet the protruding hills of Parma. The 18 hole parkland-type Castell’Arquato course is considered demanding and features hilly terrain and water hazards. Designed by Frank Pennink and Henry Cotton, it was opened in 1991. The course lies in a green and winding valley at an elevation of 220 metres above sea level and extends over an area of 64 hectares. The twisting course has several interesting facets. It is suitable for players of all levels. At Golf Club Castell’Arquato, guests are always welcome upon prior registration. On weekends and public holidays, a handicap applies. For practicing, there are putting greens and practice bunkers as well as a driving range with 12 tees. Six of them are covered. Softspikes are required. Cell phones and GPS devices are permitted on the course. Golf Club Castell’Arquato has a very well-equipped clubhouse. Rental equipment including clubs, trolleys, electric trolleys and electric carts are available at the Pro Shop Mare blu sri. Caddies are available on request. Antonio Pelle offers golf lessons at Golf Club Castell’Arquato.
