Castle Golf Resort Hluboká nad Vltavou

The Golf Club Hluboká nad Vltavou is located in the South Bohemian town of Hluboká nad Vltavou. It is situated on a 68-hectare large area between the Neogothic Hluboká Castle and the Vltava river in the nature preserve Podskalské and Poříčské within the castle park. 370 meters above sea level, the Golf Club Hluboká nad Vltavou offers a majestic view of the castle belonging to the counts of Schwarzenberg and the surround forest and meadow landscape. Well-connected to local infrastructure, the club can be reached from Prague via the E55 in around 100 minutes. Founded in 2000, the Golf Club Hluboká nad Vltavou boasts an 18-hole course, type parkland with par 72. Due to flooding, the course had to be modified in 2002. The flat, 6,261-meter long course impresses with its diagonally running fairways, numerous doglegs, sand bunkers, biotopes, water canals, and lakes. At most holes, golfers must play over water. At holes 2 and 5, one must play over a pond. Then holes 3, 4, 8, and 16 to 18 require golfers to play over one or even several water canals and large lakes. Two holes at the course are over 500 meters long. Due to its very long fairways and many water hazards, the course demands athleticism and technical expertise from golfers of all experience levels.
