Golf Club Margara in the province of Alessandria is close to Fubine – an ideal location to golf, indulge and relax. The 36-hole parkland course of the traditional club founded in 1972 offers everything that makes a golfer’s heart beat faster! Part of the extremely well-kept park are a magical Savoy-style guest house, a swimming pool, and an exquisite restaurant serving on-site dishes from Monferrato. The park consists of two courses that are both considered demanding. The red, older Percorso Glauco Lolli Ghetti course scores with its wide, especially beautiful fairways with a gorgeous old tree stock. The yellow, modern Percorso La Guazzetta course is a left-wing course and hillier. Its holes follow the mountainous nature along the slopes and valleys. It is not rare for the forest to come up all the way to the greens. For a long time, Golf Club Margara was the venue for a European Open. Today, the practice area consists of a driving range (15 tees of which 7 are covered), putting, pitching, and chipping greens as well as practice bunkers. There is also a pro shop and a golf school on site. Equipment can of course be rented on site. Golf Club Margara is ranked among the most beautiful courses – not only in Piedmont.
