Golf-Club Nancy

The Golf-Club Nancy is situated near to the communes of Aingeray and Liverdun in north-east France, which belongs to the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle in the Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine region. It sits on the edge of the Haager forest and spans across an area of 52 hectares. The Golf-Club Nancy has very good transport links to the neighboring villages and towns via the D90. Using this route, it is 4 minutes from Aingeray to the golf club, 6 minutes from Liverdun and half an hour from the capital city of the department, Nancy. The Golf-Club Nancy was founded in 1962 and is home to a par 69, 18 hole woodland type course, whose creation dates back to the design of the English golf course architect Michael Fenn. The course has been enlarged in stages. In 1962, 9 holes were opened on the course, in 1968 then it became 12 holes and finally in 1971, the 18 hole course was completed. It is 5,569 meters long and is a flat course with small greens, several bunkers and large lake as the only water hazard. Beginners to golf, as well as regular golf players, will find the course to be athletically challenging, but not too difficult to get their money’s worth. At 600 square meters, the practice area at the Golf-Club Nancy is unique in Europe. It includes a driving range with 25 teeing grounds, 6 of which are covered, a putting, pitching and chipping green and a practice bunker, as well as a 6 hole pitch & putt course.
