Golf Club Verona

Verona’s scenic golf course is surrounded by the softly undulating vineyards of Custoza, west of Verona and only about 20 kilometres from Lake Garda. Golf Club Verona was founded in 1963 and radiates genuine classiness. The hilly 18 hole championship course with par 72 is 6054 metres long (yellow course) and considered demanding. It is a diversified course in the parkland type. Because of the slopes and differences in elevation, this course is no walk in the park. In addition, water hazards and strategically placed bunkers challenge players. Golfers are rewarded with gorgeous views of the landscape and the grounds’ wonderful old tree population. The course is very well-known in Italy and is venue of the PRO-AM tournaments. Due to the mild climate, Golf Club Verona is open year-round. Guests are welcome. A club ID with a handicap (36) is required when registering. The practice area at Golf Club Verona features a driving range as well as a putting green with a practice bunker. Lessons and courses can be booked in the golf school. The well-sorted Pro Shop also offers rental equipment. After the game, it is worthwhile to visit the restaurant. The terrace offers perfect views of the course.
