Golf de Besançon

The golf club Golf de Besançon lies near the municipality of La Chevillotte in eastern France in the department of Doubs, which belongs to the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. It is located on a 200 hectare terrain, surrounded by a large forest area, and is optimally integrated into the surrounding nature with old trees, bushes, and meadows. Golf de Besançon is five minutes away from La Chevillote via the D104. The same route brings you to the club from Besançon in 20 minutes. The next biggest city of Belfort can comfortably be reached on the A36 in about 75 minutes. Founded in 1968, Golf de Besançon features an 18 hole parkland course with par 72. The 6071 meter long golf course was designed by golf course architect Michael Fenn. It distinguishes itself through its non-parallel fairways that adapt to the natural terrain and block any views of the neighboring fairways. Doglegs and just one water hazard present challenges for the course’s golfers. The golf club Golf de Besançon has a driving range with eight tees, practice bunkers, and a putting green. Golf clubs, trolleys, and electric carts are available for rent. At the Pro Shop, golfers can stock up on golf clothing and other golf products such as tees, gloves, or golf balls.
