Golf de Clécy Cantalou

The golf resort Golf de Clécy Cantalou lies near the village of Clécy in the Suisse Normande in the center of Normandy. It is embedded in a densely wooded hilly landscape with a wonderful view of the Suisse Normande and the Massif Armoricain. From Clécy, the “capital” of Norman Switzerland, Golf de Clécy Cantalou can be reached in 13 minutes via the D133A. The resort is also easily accessible by car from the larger cities of the region. The trip from Falaise takes half an hour via the D511 and from Caen 45 minutes via the D36. Golf de Clécy Cantalou was opened in 1989 on the grounds of the country estate Cantalou and houses an 18 hole course made up of two 9 hole courses, which golf course architect Bill Baker created on very hilly terrain. The golf course consists of the par 72 Cabri Course, which is 5861 meters long and leads away from the clubhouse, and the par 73 Chamois Course, which is 6108 meters long and guides golfers back to the clubhouse. Chamois is densely wooded in parts and features two different teeing possibilities. Golf de Clécy Cantalou is described as one of the most beautiful natural golf courses in France, allowing the golfer to combine the sport with an experience of nature.
