Golf de Marseille La Salette

La Valentine, the eleventh district of the southern French city of Marseille, is home to the golf club Golf de Marseille La Salette. It is located near the city center in a typically Provencal garden which allows wonderful views of Marseille, the Massif du Garlaban, and the dry hills of the Treille. Golf de Marseille La Salette provides good transportation links by car, train, and plane. From the harbor and the city center, the club can be reached in 20 minutes via the A50, and in half an hour from both the airport and the TGV train station. Established in 1989, Golf de Marseille La Salette offers an 18 hole par 70 course designed by Michel Gayon. The course exhibits considerable altitude differences and is designed as a championship course. A very large number of bunkers, water hazards, natural cliffs, and a length of 5,400 meters demand athleticism and tactical play from both beginners and experienced golfers. Golf de Marseille La Salette also offers a compact course for practicing your short shots and a 9 hole footgolf course to also take this new trend sport into account. A driving range with 60 tees, 15 of which are covered, and a putt & pitch area offer the possibility of improving the long game. A well-equipped Pro Shop provides golf clothing and equipment. Clubs, electric carts, and electric trolleys can be rented. Golf de Marseille La Salette is an OPEN GOLF CLUB course.
