Golf de Rimaison

The Golf de Rimaison golf club is situated near to the commune of Bieuzy-les-Eaux, which can be found in the region of Brittany in the department of Morbihan in western France. It is nestled between hills and has charming views over the valley of the coastal river Blavet. Golf de Rimaison was built on the ruins of the old Château de Rimaison from the 16th century and is connected to Bieuzy-les-Eaux and the next town, Pontivy, by the D156. In 1992, the club opened a 9 hole, par 35, woodland type course, which was designed by Paul Corfield and Steve Gallier. The 2,417 meter long course is set on a tree-covered and very hilly terrain, which, alongside the variety in heights and several greens on hillsides, proves to be very technical. Long, narrow fairways flanked by trees, bunkers and innumerable water hazards are demanding on beginners but delight experience golfers who want to be challenged by the course. The Golf de Rimaison has a practice area comprising of a driving range with 20 teeing grounds of which 10 are covered, as well as a putting and pitching green. Features of the course include an old well on the practice green from the heyday of the erstwhile castle and the club house, which was built in an old farm house.
