Golf de Seraincourt

In northwestern France, near the town of Seraincourt, lies the golf club Golf de Seraincourt, in the department of Val d’Oise in the region of Île-de-France. It stretches across the grounds of the former priory Gaillonnet from the 12th century and is nestled in the fields of the Vexin, a limestone plateau in the valley of the Oise. Situated to the west of Paris, Golf de Seraincourt is an hour away from the capital via the A14. The golf club was founded in 1964 and features an 18 hole par 71 course, designed by the well-known Scottish golf course architect Fred Hawtree. The 5847 meter long course runs along a hilly terrain and is shaped by long, wide fairways flanked by trees, bunkers, doglegs, and water hazards including several ponds that cross the fairways. The course demands athleticism and tactical play from both inexperienced and experienced golfers. To train for this, golfers can use the golf club Golf de Seraincourt’s driving range with twelve covered tees, putting green, target green, and pitching area. Golf equipment, clothes, and necessities such as golf balls, tees, or gloves are available at the club’s Pro Shop. Additionally, Golf de Seraincourt offers rental clubs, electric carts, and trolleys in order to make it easier and more pleasurable to master the course.
