Golf de Vittel-Hazeau

In the middle of the spa town of Vittel, known for its thermal and healing waters, lies the golf club Golf de Vittel-Hazeau, which belongs to the region of Lothringen, part of the department of Vosges in northeastern France. It is situated in France’s Olympic training center near the city center and allows a beautiful view of the surrounding forest landscape due to its altitude. Golf de Vittel-Hazeau is well connected to the larger cities of the region. The trip from Épinal to the golf club, the department’s capital, takes 40 minutes via the D166 and D165, and the trip from Nancy takes an hour via the A31. The golf club was founded in 1991 and features a 9 hole par 35 course which golf course architect Michel Rouyer designed. The 2886 meter long course runs along a hilly terrain and provides broad, long fairways, doglegs, bunkers, groups of trees, but hardly any water hazards. Its nine holes are frequently played on the way back to the club house as well, turning it into an 18 hole course. The course can easily be played by beginners as well as experienced golfers. The golf club Golf de Vittel-Hazeau offers a practice area with a driving range that has 14 tees, four of which covered, a putting green, target green, practice bunkers as well as a pitching area. The club rents golf clubs and electric carts, while the Pro Shop on site offers golf clothing and equipment.
