Golf Gorraiz

The Golf Gorraiz course lies in northern Spain between Bilbao and Barcelona, only five kilometers from the city center of Pamplona, famous for the annual running of the bulls. Golf Gorraiz is easily reachable from the surrounding areas via the highways A-12, A-15, and A-21, which lead to Pamplona. The 18-hole golf course (par 72) was created after a design by golf star architect Cabell B. Robinson in the year 1995 and enjoys great popularity with both the locals and guests. The scenery of the course is shaped by rather open parkland, a total of six of the relatively wide fairways have a dogleg. Additionally, fairway 8 (and four other fairways) require a tactically and technically skilled golf game in order to avoid the water hazards. Due to the choice of different teeing off positions, it is possible to adjust the challenges of this golf course to a wide variety of player levels. Directly next to the club building, a large driving range is also available for practice purposes. The Golf Garraiz facility is a combined leisure center with tennis courts and a swimming pool. The restaurant located in the clubhouse offers a cozy atmosphere with specialties of the Spanish cuisine. Families with children are particularly welcome here, which is why the restaurant serves dishes especially designed for younger visitors.
