Golf in Tessin

Golfclub Tessin e.V. is located around 30 kilometers east of Rostock in Mecklenburg Switzerland. It is easily reached from the old Hanseatic town via the A20. After it was founded in 1998, Golfclub Tessin e.V. let the golf course designer Andreas Lukasch create a 9-hole, parkland course with a par of 72. The course is situated between a nature preservation area that surrounds the 17th century Wolfsberg mill and an old, brick-built sugar refinery which is under monumental protection and well worth a visit. The course is designed for advanced golfers. Its fairways are built around the Schwanensee lake, leading over hills with old trees, past natural ponds and over cleverly positioned bunkers. Golfclub Tessin e.V. sells premium brand golf clothing and clubs in its pro shop. The club’s training area has a driving range with 15 tee-off points, six of which are sheltered. Putting, pitching and chipping facilities are also available alongside practice bunkers. Golfers without their own equipment can hire clubs, electric carts and trolleys. Beginners are recommended to take part in one of the trial sessions or golf license courses at Golfclub Tessin e.V.
