The Golf klub Zlati Gric disposes of a 9-hole course that captivates with its unusual location. The slightly hilly course is located close to the charming little town of Slovenske Konjice, about 100 kilometers to the east of Ljubljana. The city lies near the highway, and the golf course is easy to reach. The nearest larger city is Maribor, which is about 40 kilometers away. The well-tended course of the Golf klub Zlati Gric, placed between vineyards and the old city, provides water hazards and is considered demanding. It is embedded into an approximately 1,300-meter-long valley at the feet of the Konjiska Gora mountain. The diverse greens are integrated into an area of natural growth. Vineyards, ponds, a creek, meadows, forest and shrubbery define the picture, which gives a slightly Tuscan atmosphere. Its greens are partly narrow, and the game requires concentration and precise shots. Two holes are available for long drives, even two par 3s. The remaining par 4 and 5 can be mastered with consideration and cunning. Due to its partly very steep slopes, the course demands stamina, but electric carts can be rented. Guests are always welcome at Golf klub Zlati Gric after registration. A club ID with a registered handicap must be shown. Practice possibilities include a driving range with eight covered tees, as well as a putting green.
