Golf Nazionale: La Casa del Golf

Golf Nazionale: La Casa del Golf is the official golf club of the Italian Golf Federation. It boasts the country’s only national golf school where golf teachers, greenkeepers, golfmanagers etc. are trained. The very challenging 18-hole par 72 course is 6,462 metres long. It was designed by Jim Fazia and David Mezzacane and opened in 1990. The golf course is considered to be one of the best and most challenging courses in Italy and all of continental Europe. Numerous international golf tournaments are held here each year. The course is situated in the breathtakingly beautiful landscape of Lazio. The beautiful oak trees and the Mediterranean vegetation will win anyone over. The entire course blends in harmoniously with the slightly hilly landscape. The course is characterized by numerous elevations that allow for exquisite, far-reaching panoramic views from many holes, as well as strategically placed bunkers, doglegs, and water hazards that will challenge every golfer. The driving range at Golf Nazionale: La Casa del Golf is situated directly at the first tee. For practicing purposes, there is a putting and pitching area and a 3-hole practice course. Golf Nazionale: La Casa del Golf has a golf school for those interested, a golf shop, and a restaurant. It is close to the idyllic town of Sutri, only 60 kilometres outside of Rome.
