Golf Santa Ponsa

Golf Santa Ponsa, which is open year-round, is situated on the island of Majorca in an attractive location between Santa Ponsa and Magaluf. From the island’s capital Palma de Mallorca, the golf course can be reached by car via the Ma-1 in about 20 minutes. The extensive park with its intricately designed natural landscape consists of three golf courses in total. The 18-hole par 72 golf course Santa Posa I, built in 1977, has a total length of 6,543 meters. Hole 10 is considered one of Europe’s longest pars. Apart from the club’s members, Golf Santa Ponsa also welcomes golfers with a handicap of at least 36. The 18-hole golf course Santa Ponsa II, designed by José Gancedo, and the 9-hole short course Santa Ponsa III with its pleasantly refreshing hole layout, are reserved for members or the clubs or require guests to be accompanied by a member. 10 of the driving range’s 40 tees are covered. Moreover, there is a putting green and a practice bunker for training purposes. Clubs, trolleys, and electric carts can be rented on site, and Golf Santa Ponsa also disposes of a well-equipped Pro Shop. The club has a long history of famous visitors, such as Michael Douglas, or members of nobility, such as the Spanish royal family, as well as golf tournaments like the Balearic Islands Golf Open.
