Golfanlage Lietzenhof

The Golfanlage Lietzenhof is located amidst of the idyllic meadows and forests of the Kyllburger Waldeifel in the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality Burbach. It is only 20 kilometers north of Bitburg and can be easily reached via the L32. The borders of the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France are not far away either. The area of the Golfanlage Lietzenhof accommodates the Golfclubs Kyllburger Waldeifel e.V. and the Euro Golfclub 2000. The former was founded in 1989, the latter in 2000. The entire park has 73.2 hectares, is very hilly and has an 18 hole course with water hazards, as well as a public 6 hole training course. The 18 hole course with par 71 puts high demands on the golfers due to its cleverly arranged hazards and bunkers. Furthermore, the Golfanlage Lietzenhof is located at an altitude of 500 meters and requires golfers to overcome a difference in height of 100 meters between the lowest and the highest point of the course. Yet, beginners can manage the course as well. Golfers can find enough opportunities to practice on the driving range with 40 tees, seven of which are covered. The putting, pitching and chipping greens and the practice bunkers are great places to practice, too. Rental clubs, trolleys, electric trolleys and carts are at the players’ convenience. Beginners and advanced players can develop their golf skills further in one of the trial or intensive classes, as well as obtain a license to play golf courses.
