The Golfclub Bad Saarow is located 60 kilometers southeast of Berlin, harmoniously blending into the Brandenburg landscape. Founded in 1992, this club’s golf resort is of an international standard, and its four golf courses were designed by renowned golfing legends. The 18-hole Arnold Palmer course was opened in 1995 and features several American, parkland-type course elements. It is considered challenging, even for good players, just like the 18-hole Nick Faldo course that was opened in 1996 in Berlin. The Nick Faldo course park resembles Scottish link and parkland courses, while the 18-hole Stan Eby course with its hilly design is an inland-type course. Its level of difficulty gives less experienced golfers a chance of success, too. The 9-hole Jake McEwan course was built in 2000 and is open to the public. It is ideal for ambitious beginners who are looking to gain practical experience on the flat course with a par of 3. The Golfclub Bad Saarow also provides excellent training facilities, exemplified by a driving range with 120 partially heated tee-off points. Putting, pitching and chipping greens as well as a challenging pot bunker are also available to train on. Golf enthusiasts can book trial, beginner, golf license and development courses at Golfclub Bad Saarow, trolleys, electric trolleys and carts as well as caddies are also available for hire.
