Golfclub Dillenburg e.V.

The Golfclub Dillenburg e.V. is located at the edge of the Westerwald directly on the German Timber-Frame Road in the central Hessian Lahn-Dill-Kreis. It is situated about 40 or 50 kilometers northwest of Wetzlar and Giessen and can be easily reached from there via the A45. The Golfclub Dillenburg e.V., founded in 1979, has an 18 hole course with par 72, which was set up on an area of 65 hectares and offers a great panoramic view of the Dill valley and over the Westerwald. The course is hilly but has only a maximum difference in altitude of 40 meters. Its fairways, which are arranged in a circle around the clubhouse, numerous water hazards and bunkers require a precise game and athletic skill. Some strongly undulating greens and slopes form additional small hazards. Golfers can purchase golf clothing and equipment at the Pro Shop of the club. In its practice area, the Golfclub Dillenburg e.V. accommodates a spacious driving range with 30 tees, of which 8 are covered. A putting green and a practice bunker welcome golfers that want to practice as well. Rental clubs, electric trolleys and carts, as well as trolleys can be rented on-site. For beginners at golf, it is recommended to visit trial and practice classes in the club‘s golf school in order to get a license to play golf courses.
