Golfclub Furth im Wald e.V.

Golfclub Furth im Wald e.V. is located between the municipal area of Furth im Wald and the German border. It can be reached from Cham via the B20 in the direction towards the Czech Republic. In rural surroundings, the grounds of Golfclub Furth im Wald e.V. are embedded into the undulating landscape between small strips of woods and grasslands. The club, which is open for members and day visitors, has an 18 hole course and a driving range for practicing the tee-off. The season goes from April until November. It was founded in 1986 on the grounds of the Voithenberg Estate. Golfing at Golfclub Furth im Wald e.V. is especially recreative, not just due to the old trees and numerous ponds. Golfers can normally begin playing without wait and refuel in the club’s restaurant, famous for its excellent hospitality. The terrace offers a fabulous view of the golf course and the tower of the Old Castle of Voithenberg. The course is venue of the tournament “Golf in der Oberpfalz” (Golf in Upper Palatine). Beginning and advanced golfers can take lessons at the local golf school to improve individual performance at all levels.
