Golfclub Kitzingen e.V.

Founded in 1980, Golfclub Kitzingen e.V. is located southwest of Kitzingen on a beautiful sun terrace above the Main valley at the edge of the Steigerwald. The heathland type course was opened in 1947, through it was situated on American military area until 2006. The 18 hole course is challenging and suitable for all levels of handicap. The fairways are integrated harmoniously into the natural space. Doglegs, bunkers, water hazards, biotopes and roughs require a precise game. Players are rewarded with gorgeous views over the Main valley all the way to the Schwanberg. The course is flat and with its short distances between each green it is very suitable for older players. Carts can also be rented. Because of the pleasant climate, the course at Golfclub Kitzingen e.V. can be played year-round. For practicing, the golf club has a large driving range with 25 tees. In direct proximity, there are also putting, pitching and chipping greens as well as practice bunkers. The golf club is ambitious and hosts several championships. The golf school offers license and trial courses. Equipment can be rented or purchased in the local Pro Shop. Guests are welcome at Golfclub Kitzingen e.V. The club’s motto is “golf for everyone.” Emphasis is placed on creating an easy-going, sociable and sportive atmosphere. Players and guests can indulge in culinary treats in the club’s bistro.
