Golfclub Schultenhof Peckeloh e.V.

Framed by the gently sloping countryside of Münsterland, Golfclub Schultenhof Peckeloh e.V. is situated in the eastern part of Peckeloh in the district of Versmold. Due to its location near the B476 between Osnabrück and Gütersloh, the old estate, which is now home to Golfclub Schultenhof Peckeloh e.V., is easy to reach. It was founded in 1988 and opened its 6,100-meter-long, 18-hole Schultenhof course (par 72) in the parkland/inland style on an area spanning 70 hectares. The course is considered tricky for both beginners and experienced players due to numerous obstacles and doglegs. The first nine holes are characterized by ponds, streams and old, dense trees that require proficient golfing techniques. The other nine holes, which feature high roughs and very few trees, are more open in their design. Wide tee-offs with a good drive are possible here. The necessary training can be undertaken on the driving range at Golfclub Schultenhof Peckeloh e.V. It has ten tee-off points, five of which are sheltered. Putting, pitching and chipping can also be practiced. Moreover, the club hires out golf clubs, electric carts and trolleys, and also provides caddies on request. Trial lessons and compact courses for beginners can be undertaken at the golf academy. Its head coach, Gary Locke, is a professional player who looks back on a successful golfing career that includes international tournaments.
